I've been honored to have the support of the Vacaville Police Officers Association, the Vacaville Firefighters Association IAFF Local 3501, and the Solano County Deputy Sheriffs' Association for the last six years. That support meant a great deal to me, and even with the recent, abrupt loss of it, my commitment to the people in those organizations hasn't changed one bit.

My support for law enforcement and fire was never conditional on getting an endorsement back, and it still isn't. I've got their back, I have their best interests at heart, and I will keep advocating for them as an elected official the same way I always have. Like I've said plenty of times, I've got their back like a masseuse, that's just who I am.

What matters most to me isn't any single endorsement. It's the support of the amazing people all across Vacaville who know my record and know where I stand.
